One of several celebrations of the ongoing revitalization of Crusoe’s Retreat was held in Fiji last Friday, with food, drink and spectacular entertainment and Fijian culture to be found in abundance.
Featuring Polynesian dancers, fire dancers, and songs from New Zealand’s own up-and-coming Beth Winks, the celebration was an ideal and enjoyable way to mark the progress that Crusoe’s Retreat has made over the past eight months.
“Crusoe’s Retreat is absolutely stunning…words cannot describe this place,” says Beth Winks, pictured below.
Scott Lee, Group General Manager of Neal Group which owns Crusoe’s Retreat in Fiji,, proudly detailed the improvements made to the idyllic resort over drinks and canapes.
“We’re immensely proud of how far we’ve come since last year here at Crusoe’s Retreat, and the best part is we still have so much more on the way,” Scott said.
One such improvement is the Taki Beach Bar and Grill, located right next to the ocean to provide guests with a delicious ocean breeze and scenic view to accompany the fresh food and cocktails on offer there, with Scott describing it as being “like heaven on earth.”
A 22-seater spa pool is also due to be installed later this week, which will allow guests to kick back, relax and soak up the atmosphere of the most welcoming place in the world amidst warmth and comfort.
Coral Coast Divers has also been rebranded – formerly known and Dive Crusoe’s, the on-site dive centre is run by veteran diving instructors Gabriel and Alike, who can teach scuba diving and snorkelling in six different languages – English, Fijian, Spanish, French, Italian and German – and have over 20,000 dives to their name.
As a PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors) certified dive centre, guests instructed at Coral Coast Divers will become PADI qualified divers themselves, allowing them to dive anywhere in the world for the rest of their lives. Coral Coast Diver’s can also provide transport to some of the most stunning dive spots on the world-famous Coral Coast, allowing guests an up-close and personal encounter with the abundance of marine life and the natural beauty of the Fijian waters.
