Cheers! Taki Beach Bar & Grill opens up at Fiji’s Crusoe’s Retreat and is already a major talking point with guests

Newly opened in grand style last month, the Taki Beach Bar & Grill is an exciting addition at one of Fiji’s leading accommodation providers, Crusoe’s Retreat.

In Fijian, Taki means ‘One More’ and it is also a term used as part of the world-famous Kava Ceremony.

“We felt that Taki is a very appropriate name for our new beach bar and grill at Crusoe’s,” says Scott Lee at Crusoe’s Retreat.

The dining experience at Taki Beach Bar & Grill will be focussed on serving up tasty and authentic Fijian cuisine. A highlight of the menu is the ‘Kokoda’ which is a traditional Fijian seafood dish that features cubes of fresh fish marinated in lime juice and a house special coconut dressing applied until the fish is infused with all the delicious flavours.

Taki Beach Bar & Grill also has its own traditional tandoor oven, which makes tasty fired pizza. Make sure you order the Wasawasa Jewels Pizza. “This delicious pizza is combination of freshly caught local seafood with garden-fresh coriander and green chilies,” adds Scott.

Taki Beach Bar & Grill is already proving a hit with holiday-makers with its idyllic location right on the water’s edge that gives it stunning panoramic ocean views.

Here, you can watch the sun set behind the horizon, painting the sky shades of deep red and brilliant orange, as it illuminates the twilight blue ocean below it.  It is truly a breath-taking sight.

Set amongst lush tropical gardens and golden sand beaches, Crusoe’s Retreat is ideally located on Fiji’s famously beautiful Coral Coast. Crusoe’s Retreat is the perfect tropical venue for weddings, honeymoons, holiday-makers, company retreats and anyone who is seeking a totally relaxing break.

A tranquil island oasis, Crusoe’s Retreat has 28 spacious and comfortable Fijian-inspired Bures, making it the perfect choice for your next holiday.
